So I meant to take my camera out to Exeter's City Center this weekend to take lots of pictures to share with you all but unfortunately it started raining friday night and has not stopped yet. So Instead I am going to share some pictures I have taken in and around my room!
Pretty little student village.
Flat mates!
Room 206.
Bed :)
Nail polish.
Canadian Pal.
Festive.
Its laundry day.
Please note: I realize these pictures are a little abstract and don't really give you an idea of what my room looks like but because I had such limited space to carry things on my way over here I don't really have any decorations or pictures up in my room and therefore pictures of it just look slightly depressing. But you guys could always send me pictures and letters and postcards that I could put up to add a little life to my room (hint, hint!)

Heavitree.
For me Exeter is broken down into three main parts. First, Heavitree, which is sort of like a mini town that I live in. Second, is Exeter City Center which is equivalent to what downtown would be back home. Third of course is campus. I decided to do a post for each of the three places to give everyone an idea of what each is like. I started off with Heavitree because like I said it's where I live. So its basically just a small town consisting of mostly residential area there is however the main street called Fore Street which has a grocery store, gas station, numerous pubs, and a few little shops and bakeries. Fore street has become my go to place for most of my necessities. It is a lot closer then walking to the City Center (about a 15-20 minute walk) and it has everything you need. Including numerous take away shops open to all hours of the night that are very hard to resist on your way home from the pub. Here are some pictures from around Heavitree.

Rainy Days.
Today was one of those famous rainy British days, which resulted in me being very lazy. I made it to my class and home just before the rain started. Then I did not leave my room again. I was able to catch up on some neglected readings though so not all was lost! Tomorrow I have a few classes and then a study abroad fair, a few of the other Canadian students and I have a booth to represent Canada/Carleton. Should be fun, so if you are on campus come check us out !
I did stop by the market for some fresh fruit on my way home from school. It is apple season my friends.
